How to delete your Bid Bahamas account & data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data (listings, bids, messages, photos, payment history) in 3 ways:

From within the app (recommended)

  1. Sign in to your Bid Bahamas account
  2. Go to Profile → Danger zone → Delete account
  3. Type your email to confirm
  4. Choose either a 30-day grace period (you can cancel during this window by signing back in) OR immediate deletion
  5. We send a confirmation email and process the deletion

Email request

  1. Email support@bidbahamas.com from the email address on your account
  2. Subject: "Account deletion request"
  3. Include your registered email and any account details
  4. We respond and process within 7 business days

If you used "Sign in with Facebook"

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find "Bid Bahamas" and click Remove
  3. Facebook will notify us automatically and we'll delete your data
What gets deleted
  • User account (email, name, phone, profile photo)
  • All listings, events, classifieds, and vehicles you've posted
  • Bids, messages, notifications, saved items
  • Subscription records and payment history (we keep anonymized totals for tax/accounting per Bahamian law)
  • Connected social accounts (Facebook + Instagram tokens) — deleted from our servers immediately
  • AI assistant conversation history
  • OCR document scans (compliance docs you uploaded)
What we keep (anonymized)
  • Anonymized aggregate analytics (no personal data)
  • Records required by Bahamian tax / VAT law for up to 7 years (account ID + transaction totals only — never PII)
